Motorsport
Classic car rallying has taken off over the last few years and this in turn has presented new challenges for Desmond J Smail. Producing a classic car to withstand the rough and tumble of rallying without compromised safety or originality.

1997 saw the 'Desmond Smail prepared' DB5 entered in the Peking to Paris Challenge. A 47 day test of endurance over some of the roughest terrain from the Far East to Europe. The car finished 11th overall, the first Aston home. A real achievement for all involved and a credit to a 35 year old car.

Since then we have had entries in the Monte Carlo Challenge and various other sprints and rallies.
