Originally supplied via HR Owen, Kensington in October 1969 to its first and only custodian Mr DePower, who according to the original bill of sale in the file, part exchanged his DB5 against this new DB6 MK2! The manufacturers build sheet and original invoice show that the DB6 MK2 left the Newport Pagnell factory in Pacific Blue with Red Connolly and factory options, ZF 5 speed gearbox, front seat belts, 2 Marchal long range lamps, Radiomobile radio and 7 pints of anti-freeze. The car was a regular visitor to the Aston Martin factory for its scheduled servicing and maintenance throughout its early years up to 1984 when Mr DePower decided to make use of the services of renowned Aston specialist Ian Mason. Ian looked after this well-loved car exclusively whenever it was required for many years until 2010 when he merged his business with Desmond's own ‘Aston Service London' who then took on the task of maintaining this exceptionally well cared for car, and have continued to do so since then.
This unique DB6 MK2 remains in its original specification and has only had one very dedicated owner. It has been extremely well maintained throughout its entire life, is in a beautiful but original condition, has a history file like no other and can be driven away and enjoyed today!
